This 25 minutes short movie or OVA (original video animation) was created by Makoto Shinkai who did 80% of all of it (directed, written and produced) on his Power Mac G4 with his wife providing the voice of Mikako Negamine and his friend Tenmon doing the soundtrack. This body of work isn’t just amazing but the movie itself is incredible. A romantic atmospheric drama between two lovers texting each other years apart because one of them is far away in space.
